If you are new to Moorish Science, begin here. This guide explains who we are, what we teach, and how to approach Temple No. 9 with clarity and respect.
The foundation
Nationality and Divine Creed belong together.
Temple No. 9 teaches Moorish American identity as a matter of peoplehood, history, responsibility, and national consciousness. We do not separate the question of who we are from the question of how we should live.
The Divine Creed directs conduct toward disciplined study, spiritual development, family and community responsibility, lawful conduct, and the continuing work of uplifting humanity. Nationality is not an excuse to abandon duty; it gives duty a clearer home.
How principle becomes practice
Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice.
These words are not decorations. They are standards by which we examine thought, speech, conduct, and service.
Truth
Study carefully and refuse to manufacture answers for appearance.
Peace
Practice self-command and pursue order without surrendering principle.
Freedom
Develop the mind and character needed to live with purpose and responsibility.
Justice
Deal fairly, honor duty, and measure action by more than personal advantage.

A Moorish American religious and national body
We honor Prophet Noble Drew Ali, study the Temple's teachings, gather for Holy Day, and work to strengthen individual and community life.
Not a Masonic organization
The Moorish Science Temple of America is not Masonry. Similar-looking symbols or outside assumptions do not change the Temple's identity or mission.
Not the sovereign citizen movement
Temple No. 9 does not teach sovereign citizen ideology, imaginary immunity from law, or paperwork schemes. We teach nationality with duty, faith, knowledge, and lawful conduct.

Is the Moorish Science Temple of America a Masonic organization?
No. The Moorish Science Temple of America is not a Masonic organization. Temple No. 9 presents its own religious, national, educational, and community mission.
Is Temple No. 9 part of the sovereign citizen movement?
No. Temple No. 9 does not teach sovereign citizen ideology. We teach Moorish American nationality and the Divine Creed together with responsibility, lawful conduct, and service.
Can a visitor join Holy Day online?
Yes. Temple No. 9's official public broadcast is scheduled for Friday at 7:00 PM Central. The live page explains when the room opens and how visitors should participate.
Do I have to be a member to contact the Temple?
No. Sincere visitors may contact Temple No. 9 with questions about Holy Day, membership, the Sacred Grove, or the public study archive.
